I have a hospital appointment this morning - hoping the dr says 'throw away that sling and get that arm working!' - we'll see!

One of my favourite tartans today - Pearl o' the Tay - shown here with a white ribbon which is nice for a wedding.

Venturing into town alone this morning as I have a couple of things to get still - dont know if this is a silly idea or not - just know that son wont be up for a while and town will be busier by then!

Back to the tartan today - the Black Stewart. Actually quite a nice tartan not so bright as the red stewart but a little brighter than its name suggests.

Well, arm still sore but getting used to it more I suppose. Had a bit of a problem with the muscles of my sore arm cramping - not pleasant!

Really struggling using one arm - everything takes such a long time to do with your left hand when you are right-handed! I am not the most patient patient!

 Today's picture is the lovely Graham Tartan - gorgeous colours!

Yesterday was a bad day - fell off my bike and have broken my humerus bone at the shoulder end. Having to do everything left handed as it had to be my right arm!

I love how all the shops are decorated just now.  One of my favourite coffee shops have some nice decorations - took this while I was enjoying my coffee there on Sunday morning.

Tonight at anatomy class is the final exam before the Christmas break - the respiratory system. Will try and fit in a little study at lunch time and fingers crossed it's not too bad tonight.

Advent Calendar 14 December 2013

Today's advent calendar picture is a corsage in the lovely Christmas colours of the Macgregor (Muted) tartan. Although this is quite a bright tartan, the muted greens keep it less loud. 

Well, managed to get through Friday 13th with nothing drastic happening! This weekend is going to be one of study as I have 2 exams next week - one on Tuesday and one on Thursday.

Well it is Friday - Friday the 13th - wishing you an uneventful day. (Hope there are no little glitches for me today - did have a puncture on Wednesday so am hoping that the fact that it's the 13th today I wont have a repeat episode!)

Today's picutre is of a corsage in the lovely St Andrews Tartan.

Not perhaps the most Christmassy colours - but it's a really nice looking tartan. Not too loud and easy to match into whatever else you were wearing. 

Well the rain is back today - hoping it will clear by lunchtime. No fog up here but it does look foggy down south.

Today's picutre is one from inside the Vatican in Rome. Everywhere you looked there was something to photograph! I love the ornateness and the gold.

Unfortunately the weather today isn't very Christmas like - it's raining and windy at the moment but it is mild.

Today's picutre was taken in a lovely little cafe I sometimes go to in Crieff. It has a sort of gothic theme inside with lots of black and purple. They also do a lovely coffee.

Heading into town today to join the Christmas throng as I've realised it's not that far away!

Advent Calendar 5 December

Todays picutre is a brooch made of the lovely Hebridean Ice tartan. This is one of those tartans that's not too tartan like - so if you want to add a touch of tartan to your coat/jacket, then this could be the one for you.

One of my customers got one of these to pin on her baby's pram - great idea!
