March Already!

The weeks are passing so quickly this year.  Last Saturday was a glorious day.  I spent the day at Stirling Castle - lots to see and do there.  We arrived quite early in the morning - a good idea as it started to get busier around lunch time.

I am hoping that we will go back later in the year when the gardens look more colourful.  I really loved the look of this tree though -

The royal chapel was fascinating.

Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.  The views from the castle are amazing.

On a making front, I've made a tiara - well a side tiara really. I am just trying out a few ideas for my friend at work who is getting married next year and wants me to make one for her.  She is thinking of a side tiara as opposed to a full tiara due to how she is planning to wear her hair.  Got my daughter to model mine ("don't put my face in the picture mum as I haven't got my make-up on").  Was pleased with how it turned out.

I am planning to make a sort of headband for myself as I'm going to a wedding in August.  Will be making it in colours though to match my outfit.  Working on it just now so hopefully pictures soon!
