I haven't been neglecting this blog (well maybe a little bit!) but with one thing and another time has been short for me this last couple of weeks. (More about my return to the dating world on a later blog post!)
I have though been busy in the corsage making department. I just made this slightly different one for a lovely girl for her graduation next week -
I wouldn't really have thought about them for graduation until this order but actually think it will look good. It is made in her family tartan.
I have a lot of reading to catch up so am heading over to Handmade Harbour to see what everyone else has been up to.
Have a great week!
Mich :)
That's a very cool corsage!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous...and I could see that they would work for graduations.
ReplyDeleteThat is lovely. It opens up loads of possibilities doesn't it. I can see them at scottish weddings, highland flings etc., Good thinking and a lovely posy.

That's a great idea. Hopefully you will be inundated with requests now!
ReplyDeleteThanks Alison - I hope so too!
DeleteI agree that it's really lovely. I've never made this type of corsage before so don't really know the process and was wondering if you could make them with old ties.

I don't know what happened 1st time around.... I probably pressed the incorrect button somehow!!!!
It was strange Jan - I got an email saying about the comment but then I couldn't see it on line when I'd clicked the publish button - I'll try with one of my dad's ties and see if it works!
DeleteWow that is so pretty and very goth, I think she will love it
ReplyDeleteGreat for graduations, and proms is a good idea too. I love the extra addition of the netting.
ReplyDeleteThink these would go down a storm for proms night. It looks lovely with the tartan embellishment. Hugs Mrs A.
