I don't have an actual make picture this week - not that I haven't been making, but it's been corsages and didn't want to post another picture as don't want you getting bored of them!
So talking about my holiday this week. It wont be long now - a week on Thursday and I will be flying off to Turkey. There are a group of 7 of us - we all played in the same netball team up until this season. The annual holiday together started 4 years ago. I didn't go the first year due to the fact that I'm really scared of flying. However they seemed to have such a great time that the next year I went (thanks in big part to my doctor who gave me some calming tablets!). I followed the same routine and went last year too. Previously too it had been to a villa in Lanzarote however this year for the first time we are testing out Turkey - for those of you who know Turkey we are going to place near Olu deniz.
Here is a picture of us taken last year in Lanzarote - (I am the shorty at the end on the left hand side)

ReplyDeleteThat's a great tradition, Mich, bet you are counting the days. A great time to go as well - leave this grim weather behind. I haven't been to Turkey, so look forward to hearing what you think of it (fingers crossed my computer will be behaving itself by then - pesky thing). Hope you have a good week.
ReplyDeleteWhat could be better than a holiday with a lot of like minded friends. Have a wonderful time and don't think about us when you are sunbathing!

ReplyDeleteWell done for not letting your fear of flying get in your way! x
thank for that - I haven't heard from anyone who has been there! Looking forward to it more now!
DeleteSounds like a lot of fun - enjoy yourselves! x
ReplyDeleteHope you have great time. Like you I had a great fear of flying so we had coaching holidays abroad for eight years. It was a great way of seeing all the different countries and from that we were able to pick the places we realy enjoyed and would want to spend more time in. I bit the bullet in 98 and flew for the first time and haven't looked back since. We now spend all our holidays in Italy. Hugs Mrs A.
