Monday Again

What a difference a week makes.  Last weekend the sun was shining and it was so enjoyable to go out and about at the weekend - this weekend the snow and cold made a return appearance.

I got a lovely parcel in the week though of things I'd ordered from The Bead Shop. I really like the selection of beads they have.  I managed to get some pretty good matches to go with my dress for the wedding.

The wedding is in Dubrovnik, Croatia.  I am really looking forward to it (despite the fact that I will have to fly there.)  The dress is sort of blue/aqua colours and I plan to make a headband type thing just to dress it up for the wedding.  Hopefully I will have finished it this week and can post up a picture.  I have a discount code from The Bead Shop for readers of my blog to get 10% off the entire site (except sale - 1 per reader) so if you are needing any beads for your project this would be a good time to order - discount code is MCRAFTS10.

Speaking of Croatia, here is a picture of Dubrovnik.  Looks very beautiful and best of all sunny! But before Dubrovnik I am off to Malta - but more about that later!

Beading

Just a few words this morning before I head to work.

I am actually really enjoying beading work.  I made this bracelet and ring last night - just made up the pattern and am only still using seed beads so as not to waste more expensive beads in my trials!

I need to find out how to attach clasps etc and how to finish off when using 'flex-rite' so this weekend will have a search for tutorials and instructions.
